Senator Mitt Romney, the former presidential candidate and longtime critic of Donald Trump, appears to be softening his stance on the incoming president.
Romney, who will step down as Senator for Utah this month, appeared on Jake Tapper’s State of the Union on Sunday to discuss Trump’s landslide victory and acknowledge the success that the MAGA movement has delivered.
Here is a transcript of the exchange:
TAPPER: In an interview a few months ago, quote, “there is a good chance the Republican Party is going to need to be rebuilt or reoriented,”and that you want to have a voice in the post-Trump Republican Party.
Do you think that there’s still—do you still think there’s going to be a post-Trump Republican Party, or is MAGA now the Republican Party?
ROMNEY: Oh, MAGA is the Republican Party, and Donald Trump is the Republican Party today. And if you were to ask me who the nominee will be in 2028, I think it’ll be J.D. Vance, all right? He’s smart, well-spoken, part of the MAGA movement.
TAPPER: You said something pretty harsh about him a few months ago, though. You could not have less respect for somebody than J.D.?
ROMNEY: Long ago. I’m not going to rehash history. And we’ve worked together in the Senate since then. But I—you know, that is what the Republican Party is, and will the party need to change?
Look, the Republican Party has become the party of the working-class, middle-class voter. And you’ve got to give Donald Trump credit for having done that, taken that away from the Democrats. Democrats pushed him out, all right?
The Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren faction of the Democrat Party with some of this, you know, defund the police and transgenders in—or, excuse me, biological males and women’s sports.
These things had a lot of people in the middle class just flee the Democratic Party. They’re now Republicans. Now, one of the challenges in my party is that our policies do not necessarily line up with the interests of our voters.
And so there will be some, you know, some reorientation that’s going to be necessary in my party. The Democrat Party is the one in trouble. I mean, I don’t know how they recover. And, you know, I’m not going to tell them what to do because I would begin to have the capacity to do so.
But they’ve lost their base. I mean, union guys and gals have left the Democratic Party and are voting Republican. And the Democratic Party is seen not as rich people but as college professors and woke scolds. And that’s not an attractive feature.

However, Romney did not offer such kind words during his recent farewell address in the Senate, instead making a less than subtle swipe at Trump and his supporters.
“There are some today who would tear at our unity, who would replace love with hate, who deride our foundation of virtue, or who debase the values upon which the blessings of heaven depend,” he declared.
“Now, I’ve been in public service for 25 years. I have learned that politics alone cannot measure up to the challenges we face,” he continued. “A country’s character is a reflection not just of its elected officials, but also of its people.”

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has confirmed that radioactive material was lost in transit earlier this month, heightening fears about public safety and sparking theories about mysterious drone activity in New Jersey.
Officer Lew, a prominent political commentator, highlighted the NRC’s event report during a review of regulatory alerts.
“While looking at the Nuclear Regulatory Commission Alerts. I can confirm that there is radioactive material that has gone missing on Dec 2nd, 2024 out of New Jersey. This might be the reason for the drones… just speculation at this point,” he wrote.
The missing material, identified as a Ge-68 pin source manufactured by Eckert & Ziegler, was reported lost by its licensee on December 3, 2024. Shipped for disposal, the container arrived at its destination severely damaged and empty.
According to the NRC’s report, the radioactive source, while classified as “Less than IAEA Category 3,” still poses potential risks if mishandled or exposed for prolonged periods.
According to the report:
AGREEMENT STATE REPORT – SOURCE LOST IN TRANSIT
The following information was provided by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) via email:
“The licensee reported to NJDEP on December 3, 2024, that a Ge-68 pin source that they sent for disposal has been lost in transit on December 2, 2024. The source is a Eckert & Ziegler model HEGL-0132, with current approximate activity of 0.267 mCi. The shipping container arrived at its destination damaged and empty. The licensee has filed a claim with the shipper. If the source is not located within the 30 days, the licensee will follow-up with a full written report to include root cause(s) and corrective actions.
“This event is reportable under 10 CFR 20.2201(a)(1)(ii).”
New Jersey Event Report ID number: To be determined
THIS MATERIAL EVENT CONTAINS A ‘Less than Cat 3’ LEVEL OF RADIOACTIVE MATERIAL
Sources that are “Less than IAEA Category 3 sources,” are either sources that are very unlikely to cause permanent injury to individuals or contain a very small amount of radioactive material that would not cause any permanent injury. Some of these sources, such as moisture density gauges or thickness gauges that are Category 4, the amount of unshielded radioactive material, if not safely managed or securely protected, could possibly – although it is unlikely – temporarily injure someone who handled it or were otherwise in contact with it, or who were close to it for a period of many weeks.

Just as this radioactive mishap was quietly made public, a string of mysterious drone sightings over New Jersey has raised eyebrows.
John Ferguson, CEO of Saxon Aerospace LLC and an expert in unmanned aerial systems, has presented a startling theory: the drones may be searching for the missing radioactive material.
Ferguson: My belief is they’re trying to smell something on the ground, gas, leaks, radioactive material, whatever… I do believe that they’re flying low enough that they’re just trying to sniff the ground and try to find something. So again, I hate to be a pessimist or a guy that thinks directly to the negative. However, I know as a professional, we build professional stuff for the military. I believe that they’re actually out there trying to smell something that’s very important.
However, Ferguson linked the sightings of drones to a more shocking claim: the disappearance of over 80 nuclear warheads from Ukraine after the collapse of the Soviet Union.
According to Ferguson, these weapons have never been fully accounted for, and at least one of them may have been headed toward the United States.
Ferguson recounted a conversation with a government insider who physically handled one of the missing warheads, only to see his warnings ignored by U.S. authorities.
Ferguson:
Back in the 1980s, Ronald Reagan had dismantled the nuclear program. With Russia, there were countless nuclear missiles that were disarmed and disposed of. Well, there were over 80, I believe. There were over 80 nuclear warheads that were in Ukraine that came up missing.
We don’t know where they are. Maybe somebody does, but nobody really knows where these are. I speak with some pretty high-level government officials on this stuff. It seems as though that is the case.
I spoke to a gentleman a few months ago who was trying to raise an alarm to the highest levels of our government, which they had their ears closed, about this one particular nuclear warhead that he physically put his hands on.
He physically touched this warhead that was left over from Ukraine. And he knew that that thing was headed towards the United States. That is a very serious deal. And everyone knows that the United States government, this administration, is pushing to get into a war with Russia. We all know that. We all feel it. We all see it. We’ll back up a few years…

President-elect Donald Trump’s return to the White House next month will also mean the return of first lady Melania Trump.
With that in mind, and with millions of Americans eager to escape the era of wokeness, which the lazy President Joe Biden and his catastrophic administration have seemed to personify, what better than a nostalgic trip down memory lane to remind us of qualities we admire in the Trumps — qualities to which all honest conservatives aspire.
For instance, in a remarkable 2004 appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” a 58-year-old Donald Trump introduced his then-fiancee, 34-year-old Slovenian-born model Melania Knauss, and told host Ellen DeGeneres how much he admired his fiancee’s early-morning insistence upon orderliness.
“Are you neat? Are you messy?” DeGeneres asked the future president.
He replied that his neatness paled in comparison to that of the future first lady.
“If I get up, leave bed for a minute,” he said, “I come back [and] the bed is made.”
Canadian psychologist and prominent conservative intellectual Jordan Peterson would approve. After all, in “12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos” Peterson urged readers to make their beds.
That advice had less to do with fastidiousness than with promoting orderly habits of mind.
Incidentally, those habits also cultivate humility and thereby serve as an antidote to narcissistic wokeness. In fact, Peterson gave one of the book’s 12 chapters the following title: “Set your house in perfect order before you criticize the world.”
Thus, Melania Trump’s demand for orderliness in her physical surroundings probably helps explain her other admirable qualities. In her public appearances, for instance, she has routinely exhibited grace, calm, and a refreshing absence of preachiness.
Moreover, unlike current first lady Jill Biden, Melania Trump seems averse to the spotlight.
Readers may view the entire segment in the YouTube video below. The relevant exchange begins around the 7:13 mark.
Of course, Donald Trump’s decades-old appearances with fellow celebrities never cease to fascinate.
For instance, in 2004 the future president hosted the popular and long-running TV series “The Apprentice.”
When DeGeneres asked him about one particularly buzzworthy moment in the show, he responded, true to form, by mentioning the show’s ratings.
The crowd applauded.
Then, moments later, DeGeneres summarized the show’s appeal.
“And it is entertaining just because you are so real,” she said.
In other words, Donald Trump’s peers changed.
Once the establishment told DeGeneres, other celebrities, and their audiences that they should hate Trump, they fell in line like the two-faced cowards they proved to be.
But Donald Trump himself never changed. He still cares about ratings and crowd sizes because those things measure success, and he wants Americans to succeed.
Thus, it should come as no surprise that the orderly-minded Melania Trump, a breath of fresh air from the moment she breezes back into the White House, also has not changed.

Alex Bruesewitz, a prominent advisor to former President Donald Trump and a rising star in Republican politics, collapsed on stage during the 112th annual New York Young Republicans gala Sunday night.
The event, held in New York City, was a star-studded affair featuring high-profile Trumpworld figures like Steve Bannon, Dan Scavino, Nigel Farage, and Corey Lewandowski.
Alex Bruesewitz, a young conservative activist and Trump advisor, gave a speech at a New York Young Republicans Club event.
Bruesewitz highlighted the New York Young Republican Club’s early endorsement of Trump’s 2024 presidential bid and acknowledged several prominent conservative figures in attendance.
While he was about to introduce the next speaker and emphasize his loyalty to Donald Trump, witnesses reported that Bruesewitz began slurring his words and struggling to complete his thoughts, visibly disoriented.
His final words, “But the sham impeachment…” were cut short as he slowly collapsed behind the podium. Gasps erupted from the audience as several attendees rushed to his aid.
Raheem Kassam, editor of The National Pulse, spoke with Bruesewitz and provided a lighthearted update. “I talked to our friend Alex Bruesewitz, and you know what he said to me? He goes, ‘Did I at least look cool?’ I said, ‘Alex, you use gravity like I see nobody use gravity before in their lives.’”
Conservative commentator and influencer Jack Posobiec, who was backstage at the time, quickly took to social media to reassure supporters.
“Just talked to Alex Bruesewitz backstage. He is getting checked out by medical after having a brief fainting spell onstage. All levels are normal. Only thing he asked me was, “Did it look cool?” He’ll be just fine.”

After the incident, Trump called in to share a message with Bruesewitz and the attendees.
“I know that Alex is going to be fine. Hello, everybody. I know Alex is going to be fine because he’s a tough son of a gun. There’s no doubt about that. I want to say hello to Alex because he’s a very special guy,” Trump wrote.

Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) has allegedly benefitted from ActBlue “Smurfing” operations, including 12 donors responsible for identical contributions totalling over $2.4 million
ActBlue and other campaign donation platforms are at the center of an investigation being conducted by at least 20 State’s attorneys general, as well as the House Administration Committee in Congress. It is also the subject of a lawsuit in Waukesha County, where earlier this month a judge allowed limited discovery into ActBlue to proceed.
The colloquial term used to describe this alleged operation is “smurfing.” Peter Bernegger, Chris Gleason, and their team discovered this suspected campaign money laundering operation and went public with it in 2023 when James O’Keefe’s OMG published videos interviewing suspected victims of this scheme.
According to the FEC.gov website, there are potentially thousands upon thousands of individuals whose identities are being stolen to launder millions of dollars to political campaigns and PACs across the country. This scheme can be verified by anyone:
Simply go to FEC.gov.
Under “Campaign Finance Data”, select “Look up contributions from specific individuals.”
Put “ActBlue” as the “Recipient Name”
Select a zip code or city you’d like to search
Under “Occupation” put “retired”
Uncheck the Report Time Period box or expand it to the date range you’d like to check
The last step is to click “Export” in the top right hand corner. This will download the data in a spreadsheet format. When you open it up, sort the data by name. Each contribution in this alleged scheme is typically under $5.
On Friday, Bernegger joined the Why We Vote podcast to discuss the recent reports that have come out of Congress via Rep. Bryan Steil and Rep. Jim Jordan. According to subpoenaed records from ActBlue, Just The News reported that ActBlue updated its policy on Sept 9th to “automatically reject donations that use foreign prepaid/gift cards, domestic gift cards, are from high-risk/sanctioned countries, and have the highest level of risk as determined,” by its solution provider, Sift.
Bernegger had several crucial updates regarding their own investigation into this money-laundering scheme regarding an automated process to make the donations, why ActBlue’s policy update likely won’t have any impact on any accounts established before the change, and whether or not the incoming Trump administration will engage in this investigation.
Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) raised approximately $30.9 million in her 2018 campaign. Her 2024 campaign, however, trounced that number, nearly doubling it to $59.6 million. From July 25, 2024 to September 30, 2024, she raised $11 million with $9.4 million coming from individual ‘donors,’ according to WPR.
By comparison, her opponent, Eric Hovde, raised just $29.3 million with $20 million of that being a personal loan he made to his campaign. In that same July to September timeframe, Hovde raised $2.8 million from individual donors.
Using state and federal government data, Bernegger has publicly accused Baldwin of benefiting from the illegal smurfing operation. According to his data and investigation, Baldwin has received $27,850,750 via the smurfing operation since 2017, including 69,433 donations since 2017 from a single donor, “Sonia.” “Sonia” lives in an assisted living facility, but that didn’t stop her from allegedly donating 7.5 times per day, every single day, for 7.5 years.
Exclusive: I accuse United States Senator Tammy Baldwin of criminally laundering $27,850,750 into her campaigns since 2017, including the current one. She is committing illegal Smurfing, i.e. structured money laundering. We have documented this in extreme detail using state and… pic.twitter.com/STN7r4kpsK
— Peter Bernegger (@PeterBernegger) May 28, 2024
It is unlikely an elderly woman in an assisted living facility made these types of donations. So how is it done? New evidence provided during the podcast may be the strongest yet that this is some sort of computer program that is making these donations.
In what Bernegger called “the Roberts,” he discovered donations being made by people named “Robert” in an impossible fashion. In the example provided, 12 people named “Robert” all donated the same exact number of times (1,786) and the same exact dollar amount ($200,963.87). And at the same exact time. The “Roberts” are spread out across the United States.
The below data provided by Bernegger is captured from the FEC spreadsheet that you can verify using the method described above:
The columns, from left to right, represent the donor’s name (last first), the number of times donated followed by the total amount donated.
According to a report from the Washington Free Beacon, Baldwin received 60 percent of her donations from out-of-state donors.
The 12 “Roberts” above account for over $2.4 million in “grassroots” donations to Senator Baldwin’s campaign. “Small dollar donations” is often a way to deploy a narrative suggesting a candidate is popular with ‘everyday Americans.’ In 2016, Baldwin sent a campaign email stating, “Today, dark money spending is 10 times what it was at the same point in the 2012 election cycle. And in 2012, it ended up topping $308 million” while asking for a contribution of $5 or more, according to Politifact.
ActBlue, et al Campaign Money Laundering Thread (the one being investigated by Congress)
Now, lets break some news:

— CannCon (@CannConActual) December 14, 2024
As mentioned above, ActBlue changed their policy to require CVV numbers for donations in September 2024. However, Bernegger disclosed that he hasn’t seen any drop off in the number of smurfing donations since the implementation. He also said that ActBlue was “very misleading” about the policy change.
According to Bernegger, ActBlue is only going to be requiring the CVV capture on new accounts opened after the policy implementation. He said that he has made the 20 State’s attorneys general aware of this. ActBlue would then have hundreds of thousands of accounts that would not be subject to this new policy.
This past week, @JustTheNews published an article about Rep. Steil’s investigation.
In it, ActBlue claimed that in September, they changed their data capture to require the CVV numbers on credit cards be submitted.
But did that make a difference?? Nope. It was a semantics… pic.twitter.com/MH7SNhbVvv
— CannCon (@CannConActual) December 14, 2024
Rep. Steil has previously disclosed an investigation into four countries that they are investigating to determine whether or not they’re using ActBlue to fund campaigns illegally. The countries mentioned specifically were Iran, China, Russia and Venezuela. Bernegger, however, thinks there’s another country that is deliberately left off the list: Ukraine.
“The reason Ukraine is not on that list, I can guarantee it, [is] because that money is coming from the U.S. Treasury,” said Bernegger. “US Congress is obviously approving that: to send the billions of dollars to Ukraine.” He then said that the money ends up being laundered back into the United States through offshore accounts and into dark-money PACs, which disburse it to organizations like the DNC.
“I’ll tell you who started some of this: John McCain and Lindsey Graham. And Lindsey Graham is still doing it today,” Bernegger said. “This is why they’re so deathly afraid of having Ukraine exposed and why they just, beyond all reason, keep sending money and begging them to lower their [conscription] rate for soldiers from 25 to 18 to send more young men to slaughter: because they don’t want all of this to come out.”
Rep. Steil has voted in favor of the Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act of 2022, the 2022 Ukraine Supplemental Appropriation, the Ukraine Security Assistance and Oversight Supplemental Appropriation of 2023. This paired with three votes against Ukraine funding in 2024 have earned him a “mediocre” report from the “Republicans for Ukraine” coalition.
It’s not just “Iran, China, Russia, Venezuela,” as is constantly the only countries referenced by Congress.
It’s not just those four. One of them will shock you! (or maybe not) pic.twitter.com/fgrqo1nNr9
— CannCon (@CannConActual) December 14, 2024
Bernegger also seems to believe that not only is President Trump aware of the smurfing activities, but that Rep. Steil is going to refer this investigation to President Trump’s appointee for Attorney General, Pam Bondi. Bondi, as Florida’s Attorney General, has criticized the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for not pursuing investigations into ballot handling in Broward and Palm Beach counties during a 2018 election. She has also supported President Trump in his legitimate claims of election fraud after the 2020 election.
“President knows about smurfing. He’s retweeted two of my tweets about smurfing. He’s commented about The Gateway Pundit article on smurfing…But the news I have is that [Rep] Bryan Steil is referring, for criminal prosecution to Pam Bondi…to prosecute and at least investigate ActBlue for criminal money laundering.”
When asked about whether he believes the FEC is aware of this scheme or if there’s safeguards to detect this, Bernegger cryptically suggested that there is “at least one honest” member of the six panel FEC board.

It begins at night—always at night. Residents across New Jersey have been witnessing something straight out of science fiction: vehicle-sized drones flying low over neighborhoods, their navigational lights flashing like signals in the darkness. At first, people thought they were planes, maybe helicopters. But these machines don’t behave like either. They hover, stop mid-flight, and dart sideways with precision before rocketing into the sky at unimaginable speeds.
“It’s kind of unsettling,” said Mike Walsh, a Randolph resident who has seen the drones numerous times. “Some are very big, probably the size of a car.” (Source: Yahoo News)
From Middletown to Lakewood, witnesses describe the same chilling scenes: drones performing gravity-defying maneuvers over suburban rooftops. Another local, identified as Read, described the drones’ nocturnal patterns: “One is stationary, the others are in and out of the tree line. It’s strange. They’re out there for hours, never during the day.” (Source: People Magazine)
Adding to the mystery, U.S. Representative Jeff Van Drew (R-NJ made a provocative claim during a recent interview: “These drones are Iranian. They’re coming from a mothership positioned off our coast, and they’re being deployed in clusters.”
The statement triggered an immediate response from Sabrina Singh, the Pentagon’s deputy press secretary. Singh unequivocally denied the allegation, stating: “These drones are not Iranian, nor is there any mothership positioned off the U.S. coast. These are not foreign assets.”
Meanwhile, John Kirby, White House National Security Communications Adviser, sought to downplay the sightings entirely, claiming: “What people are seeing are likely just regular manned airplanes. There’s no evidence to suggest anything unusual.” Kirby’s dismissive remarks have only added to the public’s frustration and speculation.
The FBI has issued a public plea for help in identifying these UAVs, urging residents to report sightings. However, this move appears less about genuine investigation and more about assessing public perception of these mysterious vehicles.
“One of our police officers working for the sheriff chronicled 50 drones coming from the ocean onto land—50!” said U.S. Representative Chris Smith (R-NJ), emphasizing the scale of the activity during a recent briefing.
Let’s begin with the facts:
Unprecedented Volume of Sightings
Residents report seeing clusters of 50 or more drones emerging from the Atlantic Ocean, moving inland. Law enforcement has confirmed over 50 drones in a single wave, while a dozen or more drones were seen following a U.S. Coast Guard vessel.
Flying Over Residential Areas
The drones are flying low over suburban neighborhoods, with their bright navigational lights clearly visible. Witnesses describe them as large, vehicle-sized, moving silently through the night. Their presence feels intentional, as if designed to provoke public attention and fuel speculation.
Proximity to Sensitive Locations
The drones have flown near or directly over critical infrastructure, including water reservoirs, power grids, and military facilities like Picatinny Arsenal and Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, two of the most strategic installations on the East Coast.
Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) is home to a critical Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) facility at its Lakehurst site. This facility plays a specialized role in researching, testing, and supporting aircraft systems—particularly Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE) and Naval Aviation Support Equipment (SE)—which are essential for Navy combat operations. While NAWCAD’s headquarters is located at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland, the Lakehurst site remains a vital hub for testing advanced technologies that directly align with modern unmanned aerial systems (UAS). Its presence adds further relevance to these mysterious drone sightings, strengthening the connection between advanced aviation research and the observed drone activity.
One of the most critical clues lies in where these drones are coming from. Witnesses consistently report seeing the drones emerging from the Atlantic Ocean, flying inland in organized formations.
If these drones are autonomous UAVs, they have finite battery life, meaning they cannot be flying across the ocean from distant foreign shores. Moreover, the Pentagon has explicitly denied the existence of an Iranian “mothership” or any foreign vessel operating off the Atlantic Coast. This leaves only one plausible explanation:
These drones are being launched from U.S. military ships positioned just off the coast.
This revelation points to a deliberate and coordinated operation, one that aligns closely with recent Navy programs designed to test UAVs in real-world conditions.
The Key West Exercises
Clues to their origin can be found in recent U.S. Navy exercises conducted off the coast of Key West, Florida. Earlier this year, the Navy ran a series of tests using advanced unmanned systems as part of a classified military program. These exercises included:
Simulating real-world scenarios near critical infrastructure.
Testing advanced UAV technologies in contested environments.
Rear Adm. Jim Aiken, Commander of U.S. Naval Forces Southern Command (USNAVSOUTH) & U.S. 4th Fleet, provided a statement regarding the broader purpose of the Hybrid Fleet Campaign Event (HFCE), which involved evaluating advanced technologies, including unmanned systems like the PteroDynamics Transwing X-P4 drones. “This week’s technology evaluation event will push boundaries and risk failure in order to allow us to evaluate unmanned technology and then move to operationalize that technology to inform the hybrid fleet.”
What the Drones Are
After digging deeper into the Key West military exercises, one vital clue stood out: These trials, overseen by Rear Adm. Jim Aiken, featured one cutting-edge unmanned UAV system that was put to the test in a simulated real-world scenario.
The drones seen flying over New Jersey match all the defining characteristics of the PteroDynamics X-P4 Transwing VTOL UAS, a revolutionary unmanned aerial system that is transforming modern drone technology:
Silent Hovering and Stationary Flight: The X-P4 is equipped with vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) capabilities, allowing it to hover silently and remain stationary in midair—just as described by witnesses.
Morphing and Transforming Design: The X-P4 can change forms by unfolding its retractable wings, transforming from a hovering VTOL drone into a fixed-wing aircraft. This morphing capability enables seamless transitions between modes, combining the agility of a drone with the speed and efficiency of an airplane.
We Interrupt This Program: John Kirby, White House National Security Communications Adviser, dismissive remark that these drones are “just regular manned airplanes” is nothing short of a blatant attempt to mislead the American people. By capitalizing on the PteroDynamics X-P4’s ability to morph from hovering drone mode into fixed-wing aircraft mode, he seems to think he can pull the wool over the public’s eyes, knowing full well that such transformations—especially when witnessed in the dark—would naturally appear strange and even deceptive. Shame on Kirby for underestimating the intelligence of the American people and insulting their observations with such a condescending and transparent attempt to downplay the truth.
Cont.
Unmatched Agility: The X-P4 can perform side-to-side darting, sudden altitude changes, and high-speed acceleration. Witnesses described drones performing sharp, gravity-defying maneuvers—behaviors that are identical to the X-P4’s design capabilities.
High-Speed Flight: Once transformed into fixed-wing mode, the X-P4 can exceed speeds of 115 mph, making it one of the fastest drones in its class.
Fully Autonomous Operations: The X-P4 is equipped with advanced AI and autonomy systems, enabling it to operate independently, navigate complex environments, and even perform swarm operations.
Bright Navigational Lights: The drones spotted in New Jersey featured bright, visible lights at night. This is consistent with military protocols for unmanned aerial systems, which use lighting to prevent midair collisions during training or operational exercises.
Purpose-Driven Design: The X-P4 is engineered for contested and tight environments, such as ship-to-shore or ship-to-ship missions. Its design allows it to operate in restricted spaces, including urban areas, while maintaining unmatched precision and control.
The Key West exercises were designed to stress-test this exact technology in environments that mimic the challenges faced in urban and maritime regions. The maneuvers performed during those tests—darting, hovering, accelerating, and sudden altitude shifts—mirror precisely what residents in New Jersey are reporting.
The PteroDynamics X-P4 Transwing VTOL UAS, developed under a U.S. Navy contract awarded by the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), is emerging as the undeniable match to the drones being seen across New Jersey and neighboring states. This isn’t speculation; this is the same technology the Navy is actively testing.
PteroDynamics X-P4 Transwing® sizzle video
The PteroDynamics X-P4 Transwing VTOL UAS was also prominently featured during the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2024 exercises—the world’s largest international maritime exercise—held from June 27 to August 1, 2024, in and around the Hawaiian Islands.
As part of Trident Warrior 2024, the Fleet experimentation arm of RIMPAC, the X-P4 was evaluated for its potential to revolutionize maritime logistics. , which performed autonomous ship-to-ship and ship-to-shore deliveries of medical supplies and critical parts.
RIMPAC involved 29 nations, 40 surface ships, 3 submarines, and over 150 aircraft, underscoring the scale of the operation. The X-P4 proved itself as a critical asset for contested environments.
Further solidifying this connection, PteroDynamics, an innovative aerospace company specializing in vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft, secured a U.S. Navy contract in August 2021 through NAWCAD to deliver three VTOL prototypes for the Blue Water Maritime Logistics UAS program. This initiative was specifically designed to enhance the Navy’s ability to autonomously transport critical cargo between ships at sea. The program’s focus on advanced drone technologies, capable of autonomous operations in complex maritime and restricted environments, aligns perfectly with the reported behaviors of the drones seen in New Jersey.
NAWCAD, located at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, is not only a vital hub for advanced aerospace research but also the very site where these mysterious drones have been seen flying overhead. It is no coincidence that NAWCAD serves as the military base responsible for contracting PteroDynamics to develop these cutting-edge unmanned aerial systems (UAS). The presence of these drones in close proximity to NAWCAD’s testing facilities and the alignment of their observed capabilities with the specifications of the PteroDynamics X-P4 Transwing VTOL UAS make the connection undeniable.
From NAWCAD’s mission to research and test advanced aviation technologies to its strategic partnership with PteroDynamics, every detail ties back to this site being the epicenter of the mystery. Witnesses describe drones capable of hovering, darting, and transforming—exactly the attributes of the Transwing. The X-P4’s VTOL capabilities, ability to operate autonomously, and morphing design are not merely speculative; they are the documented product of Navy contracts, specifically tested under NAWCAD’s direction.
The connection is undeniable: the very technologies described in the Blue Water program—developed for ship-to-shore and ship-to-ship logistics—are being observed performing similar feats over suburban rooftops, military bases, and critical infrastructure. This contract further ties the sightings directly to U.S. Navy research and testing, making it irrefutable that these drones are U.S. military assets operating under a classified program. The mystery is solved, and the truth is clear: NAWCAD and PteroDynamics are at the heart of this story, and the PteroDynamics X-P4 Transwing VTOL UAS is the drone that has captured the public’s imagination.
These drones are U.S. military assets, deployed in a classified government operation for real-world exercises and in addition are serving as a psychological operation (PSYOP) aimed at provoking fear and confusion. But for what purpose?
Stay Tuned for Part 2
In the next installment, we will explore the deeper objectives behind these exercises and their implications for America’s security and civil liberties.
