Rep Bryan Steil on Fox News 1/11/25
Republican Rep Bryan Steil was on Fox News on Saturday to discuss President Trump’s America first agenda. He also said of the Biden regime, “They were spending like drunken sailors.”
“What is on your agenda when you sit down with the President-elect later today?” Fox News host asked.
“At the end of the day, what’s important is that we are unified so we can drive forward an American first agenda with President Trump. I think there are two key things that we have to make sure we get done coming in out of the gates in the first year here. We are at risk of a 4 trillion-dollar tax increase and we have to secure the US/Mexico border,” Rep Steil said.
“What’s important is that we are unified so that we can deliver on President Trump’s agenda and the mandate that the voters have sent us which is to both secure the border and to make sure that we are addressing and preventing a 4 trillion-dollar tax increase which would be detrimental to the US economy,” Rep Steil said.
The issue of fiscal responsibility and emergency funds were also discussed regarding the California wildfires.
“Now you have got thousands that are now homeless in California. How do you balance fiscal responsibility and the debt situation with the need for funding for FEMA and likely disaster relief?” the Fox News host asked.
“We enter unified Republican control following four disastrous years of the Biden administration where they were spending like drunken sailors,” Rep Steil said.
“We need to remove the wasteful spending, things like electric vehicle charging stations that are paid for by the Federal Government or subsidies to purchase electric vehicles. Instead, we need to be focused on pro-growth agenda to make sure that businesses and employers can hire people and raise wages,” Steil continued.
“If we’re unified as Republicans with our American first agenda, we have an opportunity to build on the executive actions that President Trump is gonna take on the first day in office to secure the border and make sure that we are funding border security so we can truly solve the crisis that’s occurring at the border,” Steil continued.
“I think it’s really smart of President Trump to bring the chairs of the house committees together today at Mar-A-Lago to have that conversation to make sure that we walk out as a unified front,” Rep Steil continued.

Windsor Farms is a beautiful residential neighborhood in Richmond. My great uncle developed it 100 years ago. The streets are laid out in the style of an English village and there are many stately Georgian homes with beautiful gardens.
During the George Floyd “Summer of Love” antifa and Black Lives Matter marched through Windsor Farms, no doubt to protest against “nice stuff,” preferring everyone to live in graffiti ridden squalor as a measurement of social justice fairness. I wrote at the time that if any of these Georgian mansions were given to any of these neo-Marxist protestors, within 6 months all the windows in the house would be busted out, there would be broken glass and 3-foot-high grass in the front yard, and the mechanical systems would all be trashed. The same is true with a city. Give these types of people the keys to any city and in short order, the city, just like the free house, will be destroyed. They are incapable of taking care of anything.
Here in Richmond, we just went through nearly 3 days with no municipal water. Now, we have to go through 2-3 days of not being allowed to drink the water coming from our taps. Several hundred thousand people in a major metropolitan area with hospitals, manufacturing plants, universities, nursing homes, and millions of square feet of office space had no water. It’s third world. Our race hustling, low IQ Marxist mayor hired a DEI candidate to run the Department of Utilities, the first time ever a non-engineer held that post. Her major initiative was hiring other DEI candidates to work for Public Utilities. Incompetent boobs, hire other incompetent boobs and before you know it, there are more boobs than the runway at the Bada-Bing.
Los Angeles is burning down. The government incompetence there is extraordinary. LA has its own DEI problems. Its fire chief was hired because she is an outspoken lesbian. Her initiative has been to hire more women and LGBTQ firefighters. Yep, I want a 99 lb mentally ill woman who thinks she’s man pulling me out of a burning fire! Who wouldn’t?
I’ve been known to be unabashedly blunt, but of course always right. DEI is the process of hiring simple minded knaves at the expense of competent and qualified artisans. Worse, it instills a sense of unearned entitlement in those who “Didn’t Earn It.” It is a cancer metastasizing through the ranks of work forces given grave responsibilities, and it spreads to the point where no one in an organization has the work ethic or skill to change a light bulb.
As bad as DEI is, what’s worse is the political class that initiates DEI policies. There should never ever be any reason to vote anybody into office that has not had a career in real world practicalities. Community activists, academics, government apparatchiks, non-profit do-gooders, clinicians, blah, blah, they generally know nothing other than the au courant platitudes of the bougie Bolshevik chattering class. In Richmond, 8 of our 9 council members are women, and the one man is a soy boy. Have any of these folks ever crawled under a house to fix a leaky pipe, changed the oil in a car, operated earth moving equipment or walked a police officer’s beat at 2 am in the morning? Have any of them started a business from the ground up and hired and fired dozens of employees? No. Yesterday, I ran into my friend Frank. He runs a small independent HVAC company. Frank understands how things work. Cities need guys like Frank to run them as opposed to purple haired social justice Sallyboys.
When I was fresh out of law school, my real estate mentor hired me to build a subdivision. I had to learn to read plans, to know how sanitary and storm sewer systems worked, where the run off went, how it was tested, where the water came from, fire hydrants, water pressure, gas pipe lines, underground power, soil compaction, emergency contingencies and a host of other real world matters that I likely never would have learned had I become a practicing lawyer or an academic. I’m not special, there are thousands of local people who know everything about these real-world issues. Yet, no one on our city council knows anything about such matters because they are political activists, academics or lifelong government hacks. They are talkers and not doers. Just about anybody I know who runs a business could have taken a tour of Richmond’s water treatment plant and immediately noticed the lack of emergency redundancies and the peril the city was in, but soft hands politicians can’t because they’ve never done anything in the practical world. There are no Franks.
If It’s even possible to be more brain dead than the politicians running Richmond, the prize goes to California. Every advanced civilization from the ancient Minoans ( 2,000 BC) to modern times knows that to have an adequate water supply, communities need to impound water. I learned how to do this developing real estate. Every civil engineer and earth moving operator recognizes that to have a plentiful water supply, water must be captured and held in storage. But the political leadership in California doesn’t have a clue. California has plentiful and abundant water resources, but what does it do? It lets its water run off into the Pacific Ocean instead of impounding it. Now Los Angeles is burning to the ground. Fire hydrants have no water. There are more than enough resources to make millions of acres of barren land fertile and to give communities all the water they need to fight forest fires and keep land from drying out. But the deranged, brainwashed, wacko politicians refuse. It’s better to have half of LA destroyed than to “harm the environment” by using California’s natural resources to make its environment better. No Frank would ever think like this in a million years.
If politicians were more like Frank they might know something about forestry. My family owned timberland as did many others I knew growing up. California owns a million acres of forest land, and they do the exact opposite of what all private owners do to be protect the value of their land. Any tobacco spitting, shotgun toting good ole boy knows what these government flunkies don’t. One has to cut fire roads through timberland. Good stewardship requires “thinning” of underbrush. Brush needs to be cleared under electrical lines and limbs need to be cut back from power lines. If not, you get forest fires.
How in the world does the City of Richmond not know that crucial infrastructure needs a budgeted sinking fund for maintenance and that a water treatment plant needs multiple redundancies that need efficacy checks on a weekly basis? How is it that California does not know that it needs to impound water and manage its forest land? The astounding incompetence is mind blowing. Isn’t it high time to judge woke politicians not by their words, but by what they do? As Forrest Gump famously said, stupid is as stupid does.
Frank doesn’t have a PHD in Gender Studies. He’s never participated in a pro-Palestinian rally. He doesn’t even drive an EV, but he’s a hell of a lot more capable of running a city than the flunkies running Richmond and California.

Reps. Andy Biggs, Mike Collins, Bob Onder, Andy Ogles, Mary Miller, Keith Self, and Paul Gosar co-sponsored the “Abolish the ATF Act of 2025.”
The ATF regulates firearms and has long been criticized by Republicans for its heavy-handed tactics.
Rep. Boebert introduced the bill on January 3 when Congress reconvened.
The proposed legislation is only one page long and simply states, “The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is hereby abolished.”
“I cannot imagine under any circumstance or administration where the ATF serves as an ally to the Second Amendment and law-abiding firearm owners across America. As co-chair of the Congressional Second Amendment Caucus, I’m eager to continue this effort with Rep. Burlison to defend our constitutional rights. The ATF should be abolished before they eventually abolish our Second Amendment,” Rep. Boebert said in a press release about the bill.
Rep. Burlison added, “The ATF is emblematic of the deep-state bureaucracy that believes it can infringe on constitutional liberties without consequence.”
“If this agency cannot uphold its duty to serve the people within the framework of the Constitution, it has no place in our government,” Rep. Burlison added.
Rep. Boebert has sponsored and co-sponsored previous iterations of legislation to abolish the agency.

Chicago, under the weight of illegals flooding the Sanctuary City, is a disaster.
Now, two Chicago aldermen, Democrats Raymond Lopez and Silvana Tabares, have introduced legislation to roll back parts of the city’s sanctuary law.
But not for the reason one would expect, to protect Chicagoans, but rather “to protect law-abiding non-citizens.”
Lopes and Tabares want to make sure that “law-abiding illegals” (who entered the country illegally) aren’t swept up in efforts to deport those accused of other crimes.
Lopez shared the proposed amendment to Chicago’s Welcoming City Ordinance on X, calling for exceptions when a migrant has been arrested or convicted of certain criminal activities.
Lopez shared on X, “Yesterday @AldermanTabares and I filed a Rule 41 Notice for our proposed amendment to the Welcoming City Ordinance. We intend to call the matter for a floor vote next Wednesday.”
“We believe that the best way to protect law-abiding non-citizens from the returning Trump Administration is by working with them in apprehending their priority targets: non-citizens that CHOOSE to engage in dangerous, illegal activity once they are in the United States. Our current WCO prohibits any coordination or cooperation, even in the most heinous situations.”
“This policy is dangerous to those law-abiding undocumented and non-citizens residents because, if someone is arrested or convicted of crimes, the federal authorities aren’t notified. Should the federal government go looking for those specific individuals seeking to deport them, there is a high probability that other targets, law-abiding undocumented and non-citizen residents, may be apprehended and deported as collateral damage. That is an entirely unacceptable yet avoidable situation.”
“We are not concerned with the political theatrics of returning President Trump or Mayor Johnson. Our goal is to protect those that deserve our protection: those undocumented and non-citizen residents of Chicago that follow the law and contribute positively to our city while waiting for a path out of the shadows. This amendment to the WCO, which is narrow in scope and specific on when it can be activated, will keep those individuals safe while maintaining the spirit of our city’s history and immigrant traditions.”

President-elect Donald Trump has asked the Supreme Court to delay the ban, which will begin one day before his inauguration unless it is sold to a new non-Chinese owner.
TikTok’s parent company, ByteDance, has indicated it is not open to a forced sale.
On Friday, the Supreme Court heard over two hours of arguments about whether banning the app would violate Americans’ freedom of speech.
The justices, including conservative Justice Amy Coney Barrett, seemed skeptical of the claims and said, “The law doesn’t say TikTok has to shut down. It says ByteDance has to (sell TikTok).”
“It doesn’t’ say, ‘TikTok, you can’t speak,’” liberal Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson added, according to a New York Daily News report.
Conservative Justice Brett Kavanaugh appeared to accept that the ban is an effort to prevent Chinese indoctrination of young Americans.
“That seems like a huge concern for the future of the country,” Kavanaugh said.
Trump’s nominee to be solicitor general, John Sauer, filed an amicus brief with the court in December.
The brief argued, “President Trump is one of the most powerful, prolific, and influential users of social media in history.”
“Consistent with his commanding presence in this area, President Trump currently has 14.7 million followers on TikTok with whom he actively communicates, allowing him to evaluate TikTok’s importance as a unique medium for freedom of expression, including core political speech. Indeed, President Trump and his rival both used TikTok to connect with voters during the recent Presidential election campaign, with President Trump doing so much more effectively. As this Court instructs, the First Amendment’s ‘constitutional guarantee has its fullest and most urgent application precisely to the conduct of campaigns for political office.’”
The brief continued, “Furthermore, President Trump alone possesses the consummate dealmaking expertise, the electoral mandate, and the political will to negotiate a resolution to save the platform while addressing the national security concerns expressed by the Government—concerns which President Trump himself has acknowledged.”
“This Court should be deeply concerned about setting a precedent that could create a slippery slope toward global government censorship of social media speech,” Sauer wrote in the filing. “The power of a Western government to ban an entire social-media platform with more than 100 million users, at the very least, should be considered and exercised with the most extreme care—not reviewed on a ‘highly expedited basis.’”
Trump vowed to “save” the app during his presidential campaign.
The president-elect met with TikTok CEO Shou Chew at Mar-a-Lago earlier this month to discuss the matter.
“You know, I have a warm spot in my heart for TikTok because I won youth by 34 points and there are those that say that TikTok has something to do with it,” Trump said during a press conference earlier this month.
Congress passed the ban earlier this year in response to widespread opposition to Israel spreading like wildfire on the app. It was signed into law by Joe Biden in April.
TikTok has over 170 million users in the United States alone.

War Room founder Steve Bannon on 1/10/25
War Room founder Steve Bannon called out Mark Zuckerberg on Friday and referred to him as “one of the worst people in this country.”
“We’ve had nerd rule. We saw what nerd rule was about stealing the election and, we saw what nerd rule was during the pandemic and, guess what? This country does not want nerd rule, and not going back to it. We are not letting people like you call the shots,” Bannon said.
Bannon also called for an investigation of the 2020 election steal.
“I believe strongly sir as the vast criminal conspiracy investigation which has got to go back to 2020, yes I know certain people don’t want to hear it, but it’s got to happen. I believe that you will be charged with crimes sir,” Bannon said of Zuckerberg.
“Remember the base hates you, despises you, you’re revolting for what you did to this country,” Bannon continued of Zuckerberg.
Bannon showed a clip of Zuckerberg on Joe Rogan’s podcast trying to explain his point of view. After the clip, Bannon weighed in on Zuckerberg’s explanations.
“Zuckerberg, you’re one of the worst people in this country. We are not going to turn this country back over to you nerds,” Bannon said.
“Everything he said right there is a lie. That’s all spin,” Bannon said.
Bannon also said that War Room was banned from Facebook for calling out the 2020 election fraud.
“We were banned and taken down. I remember, we built this show off of Facebook,” Bannon said.
“Everything we said dude was about the stealing of that election that was stolen and that’s why you took us down, and that’s why you tried to shut everybody up after you spent 450 million dollars of your own money to defeat Trump,” Bannon continued.

Convicted p*edophile Anthony Sharp. Credit: State of California
President Trump at least on paper has one more legal ‘hurdle’ to clear before assuming office once again, and it comes from an unexpected source.
The Daily Mail exclusively reported on Saturday that a convicted p*dophile named Anthony Sharp has sued Trump for $30,000 for a supposed ‘racist’ comment made during the 2024 campaign. The 58-year-old Sharp is currently being held in a prison cell in Soledad, California, where he is serving 25 years to life after being convicted of possessing child p*rn back in 2016.
The lawsuit filed by Sharp was mailed to the Palm Beach County courthouse in Trump’s home state of Florida, and the soon-to-be 47th President was served with the paperwork on December 2. In the frivolous suit, Sharp alleges he suffered “emotional trauma” after hearing Trump tell the National Association of Black Journalists (NABC) back in July that illegal aliens were stealing black jobs (which is true).
“What Trump said on national TV was downright racist as this particular defendant has a well-known history of making such comments,” Sharp whined in the suit. “Immigrants are stealing black jobs, just to make that statement alone is racist as well as slanderous to me and my family, because what is a black job?”
“Well, let me tell you what a black job is, really, from a black point of view. A black job is considered picking cotton – peanuts, etc. for their slave masters,” he added.
For reference, here is what Trump told the NABC:
“Coming from the border are millions and millions of people who happen to be taking black jobs,’ Trump explained. “They’re taking the employment from black people.”
Trump is right. The United States Civil Rights Commission published a briefing report back in 2010 which conclusively showed both illegal immigration and mass legal immigration plunges black Americans into poverty by reducing wages and shrinking the workforce.
As Breitbart notes, the federal government currently gives green cards to more than a million legal immigrants. At the same time, there are at least 15.5 million illegal aliens in the U.S.
In addition to his conviction for child p*rn, Sharp has an extensive criminal rap sheet dating back to 1988. This includes a charge of “lewd or lascivious acts” with a child under the age of 14.
The Mail notes Sharp is considered “sexually violent predator” by the State of California and is eligible for parole in September 2027.
Given how lawless and incompetent the Golden State has become, it would not be a shock to see him back out on the streets.

Texas DPS with K-9 Unit. Video from 1/1/25, posted 1/10/25
Biden’s border chaos continues.
Texas DPS pursued six illegal aliens through 1.5 miles of brush with the K-9 Unit in Maverick County earlier this month.
The DPS trooper, with the K-9 named Shark, along with help from the DPS Border Mounted Patrol Unit, was able to capture all six of the illegals.

Texas DPS has worked countless hours pursuing illegals within their State largely due to the Biden regime’s intentional neglect of the southern border. Their tireless efforts have made the State of Texas a safer place to live.
Texas has been very successful in deterring illegal immigration under Operation Lone Star which was launched in 2021 under Republican Governor Greg Abbott.
The State has used the Texas DPS and the Texas National Guard to detect illegals crossing into the US as well as apprehending those already in Texas. The operation also pursues cartel members and human smugglers as well as working to stop drugs, including fentanyl, from entering the US.
Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution gives the Federal Government the authority and responsibility to stop invasions. The Biden regime has intentionally left the border wide open which has resulted in an invasion of millions of illegal aliens.
“The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.” Article IV, Section 4 of the US Constitution.
President Trump has made a commitment to seal the border on the first day of taking office as the 47th President of the United States on January 20th.

Joe Biden is clearly unhappy with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s attempt to repair his relationship with Donald Trump.
The outgoing president said at a press conference on Friday that Zuckerberg’s decision to roll back his platforms’ censorship policies was “really shameful” and against American values.
“It’s just completely contrary to everything America is about,” he said.
“We want to tell the truth. We haven’t always done it as a nation. We want to tell the truth.”
“The idea that, you know, a billionaire can buy something and say, ‘By the way, we’re not gonna fact check anything,’ and you know, you have millions of people reading, going online, reading this stuff,” he continued.
“Anyway, I think it’s really shameful.”
BREAKING: Biden rips Mark Zuckerberg’s decision to get rid of biased fact checkers on Meta for a “Community Notes” model, goes on a pro-censorship tirade.

“I find it to be just contrary to American justice. Telling the truth matters! […] “You think it… pic.twitter.com/pWMZjkJBGN
— Eric Daugherty (@EricLDaugh) January 10, 2025
His comments came after Zuckerberg announced plans to remove fact-checkers and replace them with community notes, an idea originally implemented by Elon Musk over on X.
“Fact-checkers have been too politically biased and have destroyed more trust than they’ve created,” Zuckerberg said in a video announcing the new policy.
“What started as a movement to be more inclusive has increasingly been used to shut down opinions and shut out people with different ideas, and it’s gone too far.”
In an interview with Joe Rogan on Friday, Zuckerberg also revealed that the Biden administration had been aggressively demanding the platform step up their censorship efforts, particularly on issues such as COVID vaccines.
“Basically, these people from the Biden administration would call up our team and, like, scream at them and curse,” Zuckerberg said.
“It just got to this point where we were like, ‘No, we’re not gonna, we’re not gonna take down things that are true. That’s ridiculous.’”
ZUCK: “These people from the Biden administration would call up our team and scream at them and curse… It was brutal.”
Even I didn’t realize it was that bad.
— Ben Kew (@ben_kew) January 10, 2025
On Friday, Zuckerberg also confirmed that the company would be scrapping all its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programs and return to meritocratic-based hiring practices.
Just days before, he appointed UFC President and fervent Donald Trump support Dana White to the company board. White spoke at the Republican National Convention and even made an appearance during Trump’s victory speech.
He also recently fired Nick Clegg, a former British Deputy Prime Minister who was serving as the company’s president for global affairs, and replaced him with Joel Kaplan, a longtime Republican operative.
