In a recent interview with John Solomon, Rep. James Comer (R-KY) unveiled his bold vision to dismantle the entrenched bureaucracy of the “Deep State.”
Comer revealed he had a lengthy discussion with Kash Patel, expressing optimism about Patel’s potential role as FBI Director in a future administration.
‘China Is Our Biggest Threat—So Why Ignore Biden’s Deals?’
Comer began by addressing the blatant hypocrisy of FBI Director Christopher Wray’s recent interview on 60 Minutes.
According to Wray, the Chinese government has not only stolen unprecedented amounts of personal and corporate data but has also embedded malware in essential systems such as water treatment facilities, transportation networks, energy grids, gas pipelines, and telecommunications.
“China’s cyber program is by far and away the world’s largest,” Wray admitted.
Wray identified China as America’s greatest threat but ignored the glaring evidence of financial entanglements between Joe Biden’s family and Chinese entities.
“Well, why wasn’t he concerned about the fact that Joe Biden’s family took $8 million from China? They lied about it, then laundered it through a series of shell companies. The banks caught them, the intelligence community caught them, and yet nothing was ever said or done about it,” Comer said.
He blasted the 51 former intelligence officials for signing a letter falsely dismissing evidence against the Biden family as misinformation.
Comer pointed to this as evidence of deep-state operatives covering for Biden while undermining conservative voices.
A Partnership to Dismantle and Rebuild
Comer described his conversation with Patel as pivotal to his vision of overhauling the FBI. Patel, who served as Chief of Staff to the Secretary of Defense under President Trump, is known for his staunch opposition to the entrenched bureaucracy of the intelligence community. “Prior to doing this interview, John, I sat down and had a long discussion with Kash Patel,” said Comer.
Comer posted on his X, “Just had a productive meeting with President Trump’s soon-to-be FBI Director Kash Patel. Mr. Patel is the right man for the job. He recognizes the importance of ending the weaponization of federal law enforcement and holding deep state bureaucrats accountable. Change is here!”

“I’m really excited about his new role as the Director of the FBI. I think he will be able to work closely with my House Oversight Committee. We pledge to cooperate with him. I said, “Kash, you’re going to have a tough job getting rid of and dismantling these deep-state bureaucrats in the FBI who have censored conservatives,” Comer told Solomon.
“They’ve coordinated and colluded with the left-wing media to disinform and indoctrinate their viewers, and they’ve lost the confidence of the American people.
“There’s going to be a lot of rebuilding that needs to take place at the FBI and in our intelligence community. But more than anything, I hope we can go back and hold people accountable for all the cover-ups and lies they told to the American people.”

The Justice Department granted a plea deal to a gang leader in MS-13, allowing him to avoid both the death penalty and a life sentence despite his admission to committing seven heinous murders.
Jairo Saenz, 28, known by the nickname “Funny,” will face “up to 60 years in prison, and a minimum sentence of 40 years in prison under the terms of his plea agreement” when he is sentenced, per a Tuesday release from the Justice Department.
Saenz and his brother, Alexi Saenz, led a branch of MS-13 in Suffolk County, New York, known as the Sailors. The pair developed a reputation for brutality.
In one instance, they and other Sailors members attacked two high school students, 15-year-old Nisa Mickens and 16-year-old Kayla Cuevas, with baseball bats and a machete.
Cuevas had apparently been known for disputing with associates of MS-13. Members of the gang spotted Cuevas and Mickens walking down a residential street one evening in September 2016.
“Several MS-13 members then chased down and attacked both Cuevas and Mickens, wielding baseball bats and a machete, striking each of the girls numerous times in their heads and bodies, while the Saenz brothers’ car drove around watching for police,” the Justice Department said.
That was not the only brutal murder committed by the Saenz brothers and their associates.
Only a few weeks later, 15-year-old Javier Castillo was attacked because they thought he was a member of the rival 18th Street gang.
Jairo Saenz and fellow MS-13 members convinced him to drive 30 miles away to smoke marijuana, then took turns “hacking him to death with a machete,” per the Justice Department.
“Afterwards, the MS-13 members dug a hole and buried Castillo’s body, which was not recovered until one year later, in late October 2017,” the release added. “Castillo was determined to have suffered multiple sharp force injuries to his head, neck, torso and extremities.”
Lou Civello, the president of the Suffolk County Police Benevolent Association, said in comments to Fox News that Jairo Saenz did not deserve the plea deal.
“It’s disgraceful. It’s an insult to the families,” he said. “When you look at how barbaric these crimes were, murdering young kids with machetes, baseball bats, this is a clear case for the death penalty.”
Civello noted that Saenz may only face six years in prison for each murder if the sentence is toward the bottom of the range.
“We’re always grateful for the federal partnership and the resources they bring to the table, but at the same time, we need justice, that’s the important part,” he continued.
“If it were true justice, this person should never see the light of day again. There should never be the opportunity to be out and back on our streets.”

The plea deal was announced days before President Joe Biden is slated to leave office and weeks after he granted a significant number of pardons and commutations.
That included commuting the sentences of nearly every federal death row inmate.

Democrats in Congress have shown their colors loud and proud as a staggering 145 of them voted against the Preventing Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act.

This morning, the House of Representatives passed a commonsense bill called H.R. 30, the Preventing Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act, sponsored by Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.). The legislation amends the Immigration and Nationality Act to enhance restrictions on illegals who have committed serious felonies, especially those against women, children, or related to sexual offenses.
Under the bill, these aliens would not be permitted to enter America and would be deported if they committed a sex offense. These include domestic violence, stalking, child abuse, neglect, or abandonment, and a violation of a protection order regarding threats of violence or harassment.
But what should have been a unanimous vote broke partly along party lines. 145 pro-crime Democrats decided to vote to let illegals stay in America even if they sexually assaulted or beat women.
Republicans, of course, voted unanimously to protect women and get tough on illegals.
This continues a pattern for Democrats who want to protect violent illegal aliens. Just last week, the House of Representatives passed the Laken Riley Act in a 264 – 159 vote. The bill mandates ICE to arrest and detain illegal aliens like Laken Riley’s killer until they are deported.
There seems to be no innocent explanation for why someone would oppose legislation like H.R. 30, much less why 145 members of Congress would stand against protecting women. Democrats continue to prioritize criminal illegals over our own people.

The FBI quietly closed its DEI office last month in anticipation of President Trump.
Earlier this month, Senator Marsha Blackburn sent a letter to outgoing FBI Director Wray and demanded that he stop prioritizing DEI after the New Orleans terror attack.
“I write to express my deep concern regarding the terror attack that occurred in New Orleans on January 1. In the early hours of New Year’s Day, an individual plowed a pickup truck into a crowd of people on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, Louisiana, killing 14 innocent people and injuring dozens more. Among the injured are two heroic police officers who traded gunfire with the suspect, who is now deceased. While the facts surrounding this unconscionable attack continue to emerge, what we know is deeply troubling: the suspect was in possession of weapons, improvised explosive devices, and an ISIS flag. This horrific incident constitutes a blatant act of terror on the American homeland, and the people of our country deserve to know whether federal law enforcement agencies can sufficiently prevent and respond to such incidents,” Blackburn wrote.
Senator Blackburn blasted Wray for prioritizing DEI over protecting the American people.
“To that end, I am deeply concerned that—under your leadership—the Bureau has prioritized Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives over its core mission of protecting the American people. A recent report, drafted by a group of retired FBI agents for the House Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, indicates that ‘the law enforcement and intelligence capabilities of the FBI are degrading because the FBI is no longer hiring ‘the best and the brightest’ candidates.’ The report also notes that ‘the FBI is selecting [lower quality] candidates to become FBI Special Agents because they satisfy the FBI’s priority to meet Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) mandates,’” she wrote.

The FBI has closed its DEI office, Fox News can confirm.
“In recent weeks, the FBI took steps to close the Office of Diversity and Inclusion (ODI), effective by December 2024,” the agency told Fox News Digital on Thursday.
The agency didn’t specify why it had closed the office, although many Republicans have been critical of it prioritizing DEI, saying that had overshadowed national security.
Earlier this month, Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray claiming that “radical” DEI practices had “endangered” Americans following the New Year’s Day terrorist attack in New Orleans.
“I am deeply concerned that—under your leadership—the Bureau has prioritized Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives over its core mission of protecting the American people,” Balckburn wrote in the Jan. 3 letter after referencing the attack.
In November President Trump officially nominated Kash Patel for the role of FBI Director in his next Administration.

Senator Dick Durbin is going all out to try and derail the nomination of Kash Patel as director of the FBI.
In letters to the Justice Department, Department of Defense and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), Durbin accuses Patel of working to undermine the transition process between Donald Trump and Joe Biden following the widespread fraud that tainted the 2020 presidential election.
He wrote:
Mr. Patel was appointed Chief of Staff [for the Secretary of Defense] on November 10, 2020, after then-President Trump lost the 2020 election.
During his tenure, Mr. Patel was accused of impeding the incoming Biden Administration’s transition work with the Defense Department, injecting himself and another political appointee into processes normally handled by nonpartisan career civilian and military officials, and ignoring requests from the Biden Administration’s transition.

As you know, the FBI is the principal federal law enforcement investigative agency, tasked with protecting all Americans.
The Director must be able to execute the FBI’s mission in a nonpartisan, impartial manner that is above reproach.
The credible allegations against Mr. Patel outlined above are deeply troubling, and the Committee is unable to properly consider his nomination without more information on his underlying conduct.
Lawmakers such as Durbin are particularly troubled by Patel’s nomination because of his longstanding record of working to hold Democrats and deep state actors accountable for their countless crimes and misdemeanors.
Such is Durbin’s concern that he even brought up Patel’s name during the confirmation hearing for Pam Bondi, who is Trump’s nominee for Attorney General and asked her about his supposed support for the QAnon conspiracy theory.
“I look forward to hearing his testimony about QAnon in front of this committee,” Bondi replied.

Among Patel’s most notable achievements involved exposing the Russiagate hoax when he spearheaded the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into the Hillary Clinton-funded Steele dossier aimed at discrediting the Trump presidency before he even took office.
“Kash is proud of his service at the DOJ, DOD, and DNI, and looks forward to answering any of Senator Durbin’s questions at his confirmation hearing,” said Alex Pfeiffer, a Trump spokesperson.
Patel’s confirmation hearing is scheduled to take place after Donald Trump is inaugurated next week.
However, a specific date has yet to be publicly announced.

“Vice President Harris will mark the final days of the Biden administration by signing her desk drawer in the ceremonial White House office Thursday afternoon, carrying on a tradition that began under former President John F. Kennedy,” The Hill reported.
“The top drawer of the desk has been signed by various users since the 1940s. The first vice president to use, and sign, the desk was former President Lyndon B. Johnson, who served in the No. 2 spot before he was sworn into the Oval Office after Kennedy’s assassination,” the outlet reported.
Harris delivered some parting words to Americans just days before Trump’s inauguration.

Embedded into the weak Rishi Sunak government, Conservatibe Firebrand Suella Braverman may not have been the most effective Home Secretary in UK history, but there’s one thing she made absolutely clear: she is a real unapologetic conservative like few others.
Now, the MP for Fareham is still struggling to bring British politics away from wokeism and back to common sense policies.
In an interview, Braverman has now refused to rule out defecting to Reform UK from the Conservative party.
She declined to deny that she may join Nigel Farage’s party, and refused to confirm she would still be a Tory MP at the end of this Parliament.
She urged Tories to cut net migration to the tens of thousands or – even better – freeze it altogether, as Reform UK is polling two points above the Conservatives.
The Telegraph reported:
“Asked whether she would ‘bring your undoubted talents to Reform’, Mrs. Braverman said: ‘I’m sorry, Trevor, that we [Tories] failed you. We let many of our lifelong supporters, just like Trevor. We let them down on immigration, mainly, but also on other things. We oversaw a 70-year high tax burden, and we failed to properly take on the politically correct, virtue-signaling woke virus, to use Elon Musk’s words, that has taken over many of our schools and our public services and our Civil Service’.”
She says she wants a Conservative prime minister and government. And she feels there isn’t space for two conservative parties in the UK.
Braverman feels there’s space for only one conservative party in the UK.
“So, we need to find an accommodation. There’s no way that we’re going to stop Labour. If Reform is polling [at] 26 per cent and we’re on 24 per cent, that is a recipe for another five years of Labour. So, we need to think about what we do about this problem.”
She declined to confirm that she would still be a Tory MP by the end of the current Parliament, and sees a lot of common ground with Reform UK.
“In a frank assessment of the Tories’ time in office, Mrs. Braverman admitted that her party had ‘failed enormously and dreadfully’ on both legal and illegal immigration. She echoed calls from some of her fellow Tory backbenchers for Mrs. Badenoch to freeze net migration or cap it in the low tens of thousands if the Tories returned to government.
‘I would support a figure very much in the low tens of thousands, back to the 1990s level, or a net zero migration level, as some of my colleagues have pointed out’, she said. ‘And I think that would be sufficient to undo the damage that’s been done’.
‘We need something radical; we need something meaningful, but we need something that people can trust. […] We need to be the party that restores sovereignty, common sense, patriotism and pride in our country, and the British people need to have confidence that we are that party to do it’.”

Toxin RINO Senator Lisa Murkowski (AK) was asked whether she will confirm Trump’s nominees on Thursday as confirmations hearings were underway.
Several of Trump’s Cabinet nominees have faced questioning from senators this week.
A Daily Caller reporter caught up with Lisa Murkowski and asked her whether she will vote to confirm Trump’s Cabinet picks.
Murkowski said it’s “premature.”
“I think it’s premature to ask where I will be on any nominee until this process actually gets moving. I’m doing what I do best which is learning a lot,” Murkowski said.

Recall that Lisa Murkowski, who won reelection against a Trump-endorsed candidate after Alaska approved “ranked choice voting” had no problem confirming Joe Biden’s radical nominees back in 2021.
According to Alaska Public Media, Murkowski voted 12 times to confirm Biden’s political nominees as the majority of Republican Senators rejected them.
“Breaking party ranks is nothing new for Murkowski. She does it more than most senators. She is No. 2in number of votes cast that stray from the party, according to a ProPublica data base. (The top Senate aisle-crosser, per ProPublica: Susan Collins, R-Maine.)” – Alaska Public Media reported.
Murkowski sent shockwaves through DC in 2021 when she voted to confirm Biden’s corrupt DOJ nominee Vanita Gupta.
Lisa Murkowski also voted to confirm Ketanji Brown Jackson to the US Supreme Court.
